health scare.
my dad had a health scare this week. he said he saw blood when he goes to the toilet, and he started panicking and requested to see a specialist asap to get a colonoscopy done. to cut the story short, we went to the hospital this afternoon to keep him company, and the procedure is completely without a glitch. turns out that the bleeding originated from piles. even though the doc commented that the piles may need to be surgically removed if they cause problems and won't heal, it's considered "good news". he was more worried about cancer obviously. phew.
