spss is my good friend.
i'm slowly getting used to my new work life. things had been slow in the first few days, because of induction classes and the fact that i haven't been thrown into a project. i'm quite sure that things will pick up pretty quickly in the next few weeks, because my colleague has deadlines coming, and he'll need a lot of help with other stuff.
i was just given a huge dataset yesterday and i'm now in charge of "fishing". surprised that they haven't tried lots of statistical analyses on the set yet. and i sent out biz development emails to some people... hopefully someone will be interested. i really want to work on the sales part.
right now i'm pretty bothered by the house renovation thing. thinking about whether or not to renovate, how to do it, and who to look for. i'm also thinking about changing my phone. it's losing its connectivity and reception, and i don't know if it's the provider's problem or mine. i know i've dropped the phone tooooo many times and it's my fault.
