Back to work - Day one
Feels good to be back home!
Well day one at work isn't that bad, but I've been sleepy the entire day, and my eyes felt quite dry. They have arranged induction classes for the newbies, and they will take 3 full days to complete. I honestly can't wait to start my tasks, because time flies faster when I'm busy. Btw, S told me that I'll be sitting in for meetings with clients occasionally, and have to help out with sales/marketing, and I'm actually excited! The EC team does cool stuff too.. if I have the chance to do a project with them, I'll definitely grab it.
Work is fine, just that the traveling isn't. Woodlands and Hillview aren't too close to town after all. Hillview will be much better after the mrt lines are completed, perhaps 3 to 4 years from now. And the packed trains aren't making the journey more pleasant.
I hope H will get something he likes soon. Really, really, really worried about his career.
