Quick catchups.
I met j, a, c and e over lunch and in school today for a quick catch up. Will be starting work next week, so I doubt I’ll be able to go back to school to catch up with people after that. I haven’t had the chance to meet the psych peeps though. It’s a real pity. Hope we’ll be able to stay in touch! Btw I’m still trying to convince more people to go for the anniversary dinner. I’m seeing it as a reunion dinner!
J from the lab finally got her phd! That’s a tremendous achievement! I messaged her a few days ago and she said that the reality hasn’t kicked in. So, she doesn’t have concrete plans for celebrations yet. That’s unbelievable haha. If I’d been conferred a phd, I will throw a freaking huge party and I’ll be jumping up and down and screaming out loud. Maybe I’ll do a bungy-jump and scream my lungs out to commemorate. To me, it’s THAT incredible. They’re probably meeting next Friday for dinner cum celebration.. hopefully I’ll be able to attend.
Last few days of freedom, but my days are already packed with activities, whether I like them or not. My sis has a 21st bday party tomorrow, and on Monday we all have to go renew our passports. And it’s going to take an entire day. I hope they won’t piss me off again.
